HELP ME!

Scholars, help me! I have been trapped inside a strange room for a week now! I never thought I would miss the four walls of Catalyst, but I sure do now! If someone, anyone reads this, please tell Ms. Dore to send a search party to bring me home!

Two Weeks Notice

Wow! These past two weeks, working as the Scholar Government Intern has been crazy! Ms. Dore has me running all over the school, and sometimes I feel like my little legs can barely keep up! Thankfully, I have Mark and Tyreke to split the work with and to keep me company. On the average day, I begin work by making copies of College Seminar materials and delivering them to teachers. Next, I check in with the Main Office ladies to see what tasks they have for me to do. I help them enter tardies into PowerSchool, deliver letters to teachers, and file medical information. After I complete these tasks, it's back up to Ms. Dore's office where she has me organize all the art supplies and materials that we need to make this week's banners. Every day is something new, and even though it's fast-paced, I've been enjoying my work as the Scholar Government Intern!

#internshipgoals

My name is Walter Wolf, and I am so excited to begin working as Ms. Dore's Scholar Government Intern this semester as part of my Senior Leader Internship class.

My hope is that through this internship, I will learn some skills that will be beneficial to me in the future, such as organization, communication, and teamwork. I am a very organized wolf, so I am ready to complete tasks that will let this skill shine. Likewise, I know that this job will require me to talk to and work with a lot of different people, and this is something that I will have to do as a business major in college. I will need to push myself to be outgoing because I am sometimes shy.

After just two days of interning, it seems like Ms. Dore is someone who can help me build my leadership skills because she involved in many different activities around the school. I can tell this will be a fast-paced, exciting semester, and it will be unlike any class I've taken at Catalyst so far!
